Course Overview
The Solaris® System Administration course is for users who have an understanding of UNIX® and require to administer a Solaris based workstation or PC. The delegate will learn how to add users, create and maintain file systems, add additional packages and patches, and perform backup and recovery.
On completion of the course, delegates will have covered all topics essential for the Solaris Certified Administrator Part 1 exam.
Who should attend
Users who have attended the UNIX Fundamentals course or have equivalent knowledge and require to administer a SPARC® or Intel® based system.
The course is a prerequisite to the Solaris System Administration Part 2 course.
